Mountain Activity Company is a well established outdoor education provider based in the North East. The foundation of the company’s work is with groups from schools and colleges for whom we provide outdoor education programmes at every level of ability. Programmes have included work with challenging young people who struggle with the traditional school curriculum, through to personal development programmes, providing opportunities to develop leadership and organisation skills.
Mountain Activity Company utilises the outdoor environment to provide a challenging but safely managed learning experience. Courses are designed to meet the needs of the organisation and its participants. Course duration is specific to the organisation and participants needs.

Mountain Activity Company Staff
All staff are active outdoor enthusiasts with a broad range of experience in UK, Europe, Africa and Asia. All are more than aware of the powers of the outdoors. On a professional level Mountain Activity Company staff have worked either in outdoor education centres or schools as tutors/teachers prior to joining Mountain Activity Company. All Mountain Activity Company Staff are passionate about the outdoor environment and its effect on young people.

Adventure Activity Licensing Authority (AALA)
Mountain Activity Company has a current and accredited license. AALA requires all licensed providers to work within the license holder’s stringent policy and procedural documentation (copies can be provided on request). This provides the client with peace of mind and evidence that the company maintains high levels of safety and professionalism.

Insurance
Mountain Activity Company’s insurance cover is set at £5 million public liability and professional indemnity, which exceeds most LEA requirements. Copies of insurance certificates will be provided within information packs prior to a course starting.
